Those days with her in the hospital were some of the longest and hardest that I have EVER experienced in my life. It was the little things that really helped me make it through, my husband, the kind staff, the little gift bag that was put together for us for being a new NICU parent, friends and family. These things all helped to distract me from the long hours waiting and wondering when Elli would get to come home. When we would get to experience normal. I want to give back. I want to be a distraction for another family while they wait for their little one. I want to capture those special moments that maybe get overlooked because of the stress of an extended hospital stay.
I am offering my photography FREE of charge for those with a baby in the NICU. I will come to the hospital and take pictures, families will receive a password protected gallery with a digital download of their images. Im really excited to be offering this and cannot wait to help those families who need something a little extra to get them through the day.
If you have a baby or family in mind, please contact me by email: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange a time for me to come take pictures at the hospital. Please note these are in no way posed sessions, but instead a journalistic approach to capturing the baby while they are in a healing environment. In many cases babies are not yet able to be held, or they have restictions to how much they can be held. Images are taken so the baby is not disturbed in any way, they do exactly what they would if I was not there.
